Game's never going to be finished. I've seen it hundreds of times before.....

I'm new at the Whole Game Development process, so what does one mean when they say, " Put money into <INSERT GAME HERE>." How do games cost money to make? I've heard it used but i've never got what it meant.

It could mean several things. Maybe you need to pay someone to do some art or music for your game, because it's hard to get people to work for free. Or maybe you need to spend it on marketing or new software. Or if you're going full-time you need the money to live.

In this case we need the money to hire an animator to do our cutscenes, or rather, proof that we have the ability to make money and finish a game, and proof that this is a viable business, so we can then borrow money from somebody else. This somebody else will most likely be Ty. So between him and the revenue from Avatar Showdown we should be able to hire a really good animator. We might also use this revenue to get music.
